Resistance - 3

Everybody's aware of the fact that Insomniac game nowadays develop games exclusively for PS3, so the Resistance trilogy is just for PS3 gamers (like God of War, inFAMOUS, Uncharted etc.)
Now, as a part of my review, I would like to emphasize on the fact that if people just need to compare Resistance 3 to other FPS titles, then they'll never get satisfied. Remember, it should be ONLY compared to its previous titles, because Resistance has its own world, where nothing is inspired from other FPS titles. Hell, even the theme of Resistance is dark, despair and with 'NO Hope'.
R3 takes it to a new, bad-ass level with totally badass graphics and an equally badass gameplay. The story, though begins as an out-of-place 'haven' (pun intended) with Joseph living happily (sumwhat) with his family and other survivors, always under the threat of Chimeran attacks... the story follows then goes on... but *spoiler* I never could have thought that it will have a happy ending, because its predecessors didn't, just like other players. See, surprise ending?! Hah!
Resistance loyalists as well as newbies should very well give it a try, for I rate it 4.2 outta 5.

I got this game from a local retailer, this game is one of the must haves if you have a PS3. I loved the dark post apocalyptic environment. The story isn't bad however not really amazing as well. The Weapon choice in this game make a huge difference, no more all guns acting the same. Here the number of guns is very limited but each having different perks will want you to try it anyway. I personally like the atomizer which is quite neat in FFA in multiplayer.Multiplayer wise this game is amazing, good maps, decent matchmaking, low amount of hackers and kill-streaks which are not too OP. On the other side of the game this game has a very short camping and the fact that multiplayer ruins team balance so far as to start a 1 vs 6 game. However none too much to ruin your resistance 3 experience. My advice get it, its quite cheap at Rs.1699.

this is how first person shooters should be done.awesome gameplay,amazing graphics,multiplayer was quite good,although the storyline was a little weak specially the ending.it really sucks when you are completely glued to a game,you waste 10 hrs just to find that the ending is a let down.resistance is a sort of dark,struggling,emotional game,but the end was just.....i won't spoil it.....just too simple.

but everything aside it's an amazing game,definitely worth a try.
and yes the weapons are amazing.(10/10 to weapons and weapon upgrading system)
good replayabiltiy also.

first things first,
I admit that it is not as good as any of the Uncharted, MGS 4 or even Killzone 3. However, You won't regret buyying this shooter at all.
The storyline is weak, and controlling is difficult to adapt to especially you do not have experience of other titles of the same franchise. But you will soon be okay with it given to the excellent gameplay and graphics offered by this title.
It is certainly a good game and buy it for the sheer shooting fun.

Resistance 3 is the best PS3 exclusive FPS game. It ticks everything off on the checklist needed to make a great shooter. Plus if you have the PS move, the experience gets better. Playing with the move in R3 is just like in Killzone 3. While the graphics aren't as good as other PS3 games like Uncharted and Killzone, they still look really good. Also, the multiplayer is a real blast to play and split screen co-op play just sweetens the deal.
