Treachery abounded in fifth century Britain. Under the cover of night and with the aid of treason, Vortigern, King of Powys, consumed by ambition, storms the castle on the High King of Britain in Venta, killing most of his men-at-arms and murdering Constantine Aurelianus. His men search for the heir to the throne, Ambrosius. But fate willed it that the young prince survive and managed to escape with a handful of loyal men: This is his story.
