Braun technology reigns supreme
I was presented with a corded Braun electric shaver by my uncle in 1972 and used it for many years without any problems.
When the foil wore out in 1978, I changed over to wet shaves with Gillette Razors.
Recently I was on the look out for a moderately priced Braun and, after much research on the Internet, I set my sights on Braun 190s Series 1, as it was cordless, had a 30 min shaving time with a 1 hour charge, was washable and had a floating head and Trimmer, and reasonably priced.
It is a marvel of engineering, assembled in China, and fits quite snugly into my hand. The Trimmer is a delight to use - the blades cutting with precision and seemingly effortlessly.
I have had very smooth shaves with the razor - much better than with the wet shaves with the Turbo blades I had been using previously. It is a good buy and I unhesitatingly recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable, cordless, fully washable electric razor. This is German technology at its best!
