Rich Dad Poor Dad (Gujarati), written by Robert T. Kiyosaki, offers invaluable advice on how to achieve financial independence by making your money work for you.
Summary Of The Book
Rich Dad Poor Dad (Gujarati) provides a rationale for the basis that a person’s own mindset and thought process have a huge influence on his ability to create and manage wealth. It talks about the ways of becoming financially intelligent by applying certain principles that work, such as owning high value assets like real estate or a business, becoming an entrepreneur, investing wisely, and so on.
Some of the key points highlighted are the differences between the rich and the poor, in terms of their attitude towards money and the way they teach their children to handle it. Kiyosaki explains the difference between an asset and a liability, and points out that a home can be considered an asset only if it is creating revenue for you. He gives examples from his personal life and talks about having been raised in Hawaii, and how the key decisions in his life were influenced by two distinct entities, a rich dad and a poor dad.
The original book, Rich Dad Poor Dad, was deemed a runaway success having sold more than 26 million copies worldwide. It was also featured on the Oprah Winfrey show. The book’s success prompted Kiyosaki to create and host the ‘Rich Dad’ TV Series for major channels across the US.
