Just when you thought that the music that was created in ancient times would be lost forever, a band arrives to revive that style of music with a new blend. Samved is an Indian band that hail from Mumbai which intertwines Indian classical music with electronica. The band comprises of Ritvik Joe and K.K., both of whom are electronic artists and music producers, as well as Zeeshan Khan on vocals, Sangeet Mishra on the sarangi and Kirti Das who is the percussionist. Having signed with Universal Music India, Samved has come out with Rlung Ta, its first studio album, which attempts to present to its audience a fine fusion of classical and modern sounds.
