Just got my copy of Rockstar(Blu-Ray) today. Product packaging was good as usual.
Quality of both Audio and Video is just amazing.
Video track is in Full HD (1920x1080) as expected, and the Audio is DTS HD MA, which delivers superb effects and sound quality.
Subtitles are available only in English, but that should not be a problem.

about the product: great delievery, nicely packed, delievred just in 3 days and super awesome movie..

about movie: superb acting by ranbir, superb direction by imtiaz, superb music by mr. rehmann, and superb vocals by mohit chauhan, superb movie.. loved it! go for it! :)

Its a grt movie and Rahman rocks.

Excellent

Rahman Rocks..

Print is excellent.Sound Quality it also good.

All Rahman fans should have this DVD....It is difficult now a days to get genuine DVDs , Thanx flipkart for the quick delivery at my home.

Imagine a power drill making a high-pitched whine as it bores through your forehead.

You can hear the pitch shift as the drill bit slows down as it hits the tough frontal bone. At this point, you want to beg your tormentor to stab your ear drums out, just so that you won't have to hear the sickening whine. But you don't. You know that doing so would make the dreadful sound conducted through the bone only more prominent.

All thought processes are interrupted as you hear the hot drill bit sizzle into your frontal lobe. That's when your pupils roll, scraping the top of the ocular cavity. Your tongue slides out of the corner of your mouth as your jaw comes unhinged. Technically, you aren't dead, but then you aren't really alive either.

Being forced to watch Rockstar by your folks during dinner is pretty much the same - only more painful.

Music is the soul of this movie. Subtract the music and you are left with a beautiful body sans a soul. Nargis Fakhri has a beautiful face, alright, but needs to work harder on her acting skills. Ranbir does a smooth job. His angst is well portrayed. The scene where he tears up his contract with Piyush Mishra is to watch out for. Kumud Mishra, who plays the canteenwala and subsequently becomes Ranbir's manager looks authentic in his act. Shammi Kapoor pitches in with a good cameo. One wishes he had a bigger role, that of a mentor to Ranbir.

Though Rockstar is entertaining, Imtiaz Ali's former works like Socha na Tha, Jab we met and Love Aaj Kal were emotionally richer and one could feel an instant connection with the characters. This aspect is somehow missing in Rockstar.

Overall, a well-made movie, with great music and some groovy performances.

this movie is a gem of hindi cinema..very inspiring and touching.

Watched this movie on cable with a lot of expectations, but it is totally disconnected and confusing. The story is very thin. Also nargis has been much hyped, but from an acting standpoint, she is a big disappointment. Songs are the only saving grace. An avoidable movie, oveall.

Rockstar is sheer letdown. Slow, patchy, painfully cliched, the film is a complete disaster. Nargis Fakhri is a very mediocre wannabe Katrina Kaif and has nothing of the finesse, the elan of the original. Ranbir Kapoor with his "bad boy" attitude and adenoidal open mouth throughout the movie is not convincing at all. The movie is full of cliches and defnitely not worth watching.

A love story so intense that it will take time for you to realise what exactly happened. it will linger on in your mind for days. A love story which has a soothing effect on your senses. Ranbit Kapoor has finally displayed his acting skills. The songs are not hummable but they blend-in on screen so well that you feel like listening to them even after the movie is over.
