Book: Role Of Caste In Indian Administration, The book deals with the role of caste in the administrative proces and the decision making in particular. We are given to understand that Indian administration bases itself on the value neutral premise. The book is primarily an attempt to have an object look into the role of caste in the Indian administrative process vis-a-vis a value neutral framework. It is argued that the caste has an important influence on the governing process which affects governance and decision making.
About Author :
Prof S N Singh, Emeritus Professor in the Department of Public Administration, Lucknow University, has long academic career spanning over more than three decades. He has been on a teaching and training assignment with the LBS National Academy of Administration, Mussoorie from 1980 to 1984. H ehas published about 50 research papers in leading national journals. He has completed six research projects sponsored by the UGC, ICSSR and Ministry of Rural Development, Governemnt Of INDIA. Presently he is working on a Major Research Project Of UGC entitled `` Paradigm Shift In India`s Development``
