Russell On Education

Philosophy of Education is a fascinating area of educational studies. There may be several approaches to study this branch of education. One of the important approaches is the great minds approached which is based on analysing diferent aspects of personality of a great man and his ideas on different dimensions of human life. In the present book the authors have taken up the study of a great mind viz., Bertrand Russell who influenced the conceptual framework of the world in the last century.
About Author :
Born on Ist July 1934 at Pratapgarh Avadh, Ram Shakal Pandey received his education at Karachi, Agra Sagar and Lucknow. He was awarded the degree of Ph.D. in Education by Lucknow University as a Reader in Education for two years. Since 1977 he has been on the staff of the University of Allahabad and currently he is Professor and Head of the Department of Education in this university. He is an author of several books in Hindi and English and his books have received recognition scholars of not only India but also abroad. Born on 23rd May 1946 at Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh, Smt. Uma Rani Sharma, received he education at Sharanpur, Agra, Kathamandu (Nepal), and Allahabad She passed her M.Ed., examination with first division and first position from the University of Allahabad, She has awarded the degree of D.Phil. in Education by the University of Allahabad in 1989.
