Russell Hobbs RCM1 Coffee Maker

Please note that this is not a review of the Russell Hobbs RCM1 Coffee Maker but a clarification of what this product is meant for. Please note that you cannot use this machine with instant coffee. You have to use it for filter coffee. The two reviewers who have trashed this product were totally ignorant of this fact. One of them certainly used instant coffee while the other also, most probably, used the same. I am also sorry to say that no serious coffee drinker or coffee lover would really go for instant coffees.

The two people commented here had never tested real coffee. Thease coffee makers are for coffee bean powder not for instant coffee. And if you don't know difference between those just google it. A real coffee doesn't dissolve with water as instant one. You have to filter it like we do with tea. And there is no rocket science in a coffee maker it just boil the water, mix it with the coffee powder and filter it. The taste of coffee depends only on type of coffee you are using.

Is someone is planning to buy this product, please think or look for correct feedback.
I realized the issue immediately after the first use, well called flipkart for replacement; I hope people would have experienced post sales on Law / rules / policies, etc …. Money is gone.

The SIZE of the coffee powder container area is very small, when HOT water pumps inside it, Coffee + Hot water spills out of the Coffee powder container.

You cannot switch on the machine for more time water will spill out, so you need to switch off the movement it drops the “Decoction” to avoid the overflow.

Its beset recommended for buy-two coffee drinks.

God knows how long it will last, because I may not use this product often, so I cannot review or comment on efficiency.

Reason for buying : “I have used similar kind of product, the size was pretty good & it last for 2 year, it had issue with the pipe inside , which pump hot water into the coffee”

Amazing service from Flipkart, very satisfied with the speed and customer service. Unfortunately the product is meant for hotel rooms where you use them once in a blue moon. Its not meant for everyday use, can't handle the volume. The filter is made of plastic so there's no saying how long it will last, the other parts of the machine feel plasticky and cheap. Hot water splutters if you are standing near the machine so there's an issues with that too. Overall a bad product. Spend a little more get something durable.

I gifted this to my best friend on his engagement and they made the coffee just once and threw it back in the garage. When I visited their place I saw it for myself. Just to save few bucks I had gifted an useless machine.
