The first thing i want to say is thanks to flipkart for getting my game to me within 2 days time :) thank you.

Well what can i tell about this game!!! whoo i was waiting for this game since the time they announced it pure awesome fun, there are so many things that you can do in this game aside the purely insane story missions.

Pros:

* Customization
* FUN fun fun!!
* Crazy story missions
* Absolutely everything :D

Cons:

* Not optimized well (couple of patches can fix it)
* AI can be stupid sometimes
* Some small glitches

Don't let the cons pull you down, if you have a good computer at least fitting the minimum specs, just don't think about it, just get it, you would be happy that you did.

FYI - This is the steam version so you need a steam account to play, also there is a 2gb patch as of 28/11/2011, you have to install before you can experience pure sandbox fun.

There's almost nothing you can't do in this game. Saints row 3 was released in December last year and still is rich with content updates and DLCs. It's a great practice run for all wannabe agents out there. This is a game with a lot of content, including but not limited to- weird weapons, hot women turned gangsters, an annoying pimp with a really 'musical' voice, Viola, Shaundi, etc. Great voice acting, character customization, explosions, missions and graphics. If you run out of missions and are done with the game, you could always purchase the DLCs online and have great fun with another player on co-op. If you're just poor or a miser, or can't come out in the open, you could always run around in game with a bra on and beat people to a bloody pulp with a dildo letting go of that teenage angst and pent up rage you've built up over the years.

Ordered this game from Flipkart as my first purchase. To see for myself the much heard of prompt delivery and service! And boy oh boy. I got the game CD on my desk one day after ordering! The box was in impeccable condition and the packaging was so good that it would have survived an earthquake!

Now to the game. First of all Steam is a b*tch. But unfortunately to run this game you'll need it. So please buy this only if you have an Unlimited Internet plan. It says it needs only one time registration but during that one time it downloads something like 3GB of data from Steam which took me something like 18 hours to download (MTNL Wi-Fi). Abd Steam itself is a cranky baby that will throw tantrums during installation. It just stops randomly somewhere. But keep trying and once it installs (eventually) its all fun.

Trust me the game is well worth the day's wait. From the first mission itself you'll know what I'm referring to. From over-sized masks to flying into airplanes from the cockpit window and coming shooting out from the back, from driving cars with a tiger to stealing tanks from army bases this game is one helluva ride! Just remember to leave your brains in the fridge while playing this one or else you'll just end up ruining the fun!

DON'T BUY THIS IF YOU ARE A SERIOUS GAMER! BUY ONLY IF YOU DON'T CARE TO EXPLAIN THE SCIENCE AND PHYSICS BEHIND WHATEVER THE HELL IS HAPPENING!

At Rs.399 this game is the steal of the century!! So don't think and click 'Buy' and trust me you won't be disappointed by the world's cheesiest and cheekiest gang...The Third Street Saints!

It would be wrong to say that I'm not into sandbox games, I am a GTA follower and loved MAFIA II, but to dismiss SR3 for having copied from them is absolutely wrong. Saints Row The Third has in it, some of the most ORIGINAL mechanics and story-telling and gameplay I've come across. Yes, it is rather a bit too much over-the-top and has in it lots of juvenile moments but all in all it packs quite a punch with innumerable opportunities to pass time-you can protect homies on the ground in GUARDIAN ANGEL or take part in the super goofy Prof. Genky's Super Ethical Reality Show or cause plain and simple mayhem with a tank. Character customization is full and fun and provides dozens of choices. Upgrades and level-ups too provide means to increase all your abilities, your gang and your weapons to exceedingly high and insane levels. There's plenty of fun to be had here and you need not even pay the main plot much attention to enjoy the game.
However, just saying that that you need not enjoy the plot doesn't mean that you shouldn't. Insane firefights with the protagonist hanging from a chopper, shooting while skydiving, UAV strikes, infiltrating enemy strongholds with overwhelming waves of enemies, protecting your penthouse HQ during a er......party gone wrong and pitting yourself against minigun wielding brutes are all part of a day when you're a part of the 3rd Street Saints. The story is nicely directed and you need to have zero knowledge of SR1 & 2 to jump into this one. After a messed-up bank heist the globally popular Saints are dropped into Steelport wherein the Syndicate is in control-it comprises of three gangs, the Morningstars and Luchedros, the main among them, but our SAINTS ain't gonna give up on dominance without a fight and thus spirals off an absurd and goofy and mad-crazy storyline where everything can be part of a day.
To all you gamers out there, Saints row the third is one hell of a roller coaster ride that shouldn't be missed by anyone.
Of course last but never the least, Flipkart's awesome service as always just keeps me spellbound!!

About the game,

Pros:

1) Customization - you can customize everything including player's age, skin tone, tattoos, piercings, clothes, even underwear! Not to mention customization of vehicles in ever possible way you can think of.
2) Huge array of weapons at your disposal which also can be modified
3) Awesome missions right from the very first! Each mission is incomparably varied from the other. You will be jumping out our airplanes and shooting people in mid air in one mission and you will be in a no holds barred wrestling match in the other.
4) You can call your friends and followers to join you in a fight if need be.
5) Everything is destructible and interactive including people in the city.
6) Super cool transportation like cars, jeeps, bikes, helicopters, fighter jets, tanks, parachutes, etc at your disposal

Cons:

1) Requires 2.5GB download from Steam. The disk contains only 7GB of the content.
2) Its a steam version of the game. So please be careful not to end up downloading the full game and install carefully.
3) Requires high end processor and graphics card to enjoy properly.

Note: Certain missions will automatically cause player to die because of insufficient frame rate of the graphics card. I had to reduce the display resolution to lowest possible value to pass this mission and then turned it back again.

4) Plenty of missions and references to drugs, prostitution, and foul language from the very beginning.

Overall: IT IS A MUST BUY FOR ALL GAMERS!! PLEASE GO AHEAD AND BUY IF YOU HAVE A DESCENT SYSTEM SPECIFICATIONS AND GOOD INTERNET CONNECTION
