Excellent
4ml reservoir. Nylon tip approximately same carrying capacity as #4 kolinsky (or #5 red sable brush). Comes to nearly a point, flexible with good backbone; not too stiff that bristles splay out with pressure, and not floppy either; just right. Can easily handle a 5x7 or slightly larger. Water flow is minimal in normal use (if barrel is not pressed); works just like a normal brush, with ability to add water when needed.
One of the best brushes for beginners and artists as well !
As a teacher I found kids who begin with water color find it difficult to control the water on their brush. This brush pen is perfect for those who are just about to start painting with water color.
As an artist I find this brush pen very handy to do fine detailing and also to work with water color pencils.
Cons: This will not work as a replacement of pony hair brushes in case of washes. This is appropriate only for fine details.
