Issa Mazumder finds out that her mother is going to marry the father of her nemesis, Cat Morena. Issa feels her new step-sister-to-be has no respect for her Indian and African-American heritage. Issa soon learns that for Cat to welcome her traditions, she should learn about Cat's Latino heritage.

First, Issa Mazumder's nerdy boyfriend dumps her for popular Latina princess Cat Morenaas if Cat even likes him. She just hates Issa.
