Best book ever

Hello,
I did not buy this from flipkart. But I have made many other purchases from here and they usually deliver on time, on quality and on customer support ALWAYS. I will make future purchases from here as they have best price too.

Just an overview

This book presents an overview of the development process involved in android app development & describes about most common activities using a theoretical "Gaming App".
IF you are completely new to android ,& want to develop a app on your own ,it will provide yo with knowledge but not the complete code base. You are expected to have a working knowledge of Eclipse IDE & java language .

Takes a simplistic overview approach with very few specifics

The book does little justice to its title, and doesnt teach you Android programming in 24 hours. It gives you a simplified overview of Android programming without giving you enough knowledge about anything. It provides incomplete code, and not full code samples. It seems to try too much in too little. Definitely will not recommend this book for anyone seriously considering to study Android development.
