Great product & highly recommended!
I was evaluating a good plasma TV of sizes >40"; My final shortlisted products were this Samsung 51" Full HD Plasma and the Panasonic 50" VT plasma engine! Although the Panasonic too is an extremely good product, but the SAMSUNG 550D is the best value for money! My need was never to buy a 3D TV, but there was no product in this category without the 3D option! The Samsung 51" D550 HD plasma is a superb product but if you are looking to buy it for the 2d to 3d conversion feature, then maybe you could look at other 3D options...but if 3D is not a priority then this Samsung is worth the investment!

Great TV
Got this TV yesterday from Flipkart, and it is awesome. Full HD videos makes the feeling of being inside theatre. 2D-3D conversion is also a very nice feature that works pretty well. Sound quality is a so-so, anyway did not expect it to be good in first place. Even SD videos up scaled are pretty decent by this TV. USB input detected pretty much all video formats I had including divx, avi, mkv, wmv etc, thanks a lot to Samsung for having such elaborate set of video decoders. Really happy with the purchase.
