Samsung BHM1100IBEGINU In-the-ear Headset with Charger

this product have some good and bad in it.i have turned it on for 24 hours and used it with 4 different phones. and here comes the actual results

pros -

best of all good priced
clear sound
long battery life
quick multi pairing
quick charging



but found some problem in it.

cons-

you may have some feelings that it will not fit into your ears.
no wind noise cancellation. people will have some difficulty to hear you while you riding or on the move on busy road.
BT range is shorter than specified. you can accept only one call at a time from one handset if you are using 2 handset with this Bluetooth.
one more peculiar problem with this headset earpiece, if a caller using sony erricson cybershot slide phone calls you with slide down and you receive the call on this bluetooth then you will get a very noisy over volumed empty hall effect(quite impossible to hear), but if you transfer the same call to handset voice will be clear. I dont know if any one getting this result.

final conclusion - its a very good deal at 949/- . go buy it its worth more than this price.

Getting to the product, for the price paid, I wasn't exactly expecting fireworks out of it.

The device does a good enough job but the voice quality gets scratchy with even slight proximity from the phone.

It comes along with a charger but for people who have a Samsung charger or another micro USB type charger, billing this with a charger is redundant.

You may even consider buying a micro USB data cable for charging purposes.

The device comes with two choices of ear pieces (the rubber tip) and two plastic hoops (one black & one transparent).

The hoops can easily be changed depending on whether you prefer to wear it on your right or left ear.

Its just been a couple of days using it and the battery seems to be holding up really well.

Pairing it with a Samsung Galaxy S was a breeze.

Its a very good entry level BT headset. Paired easily with HTC, Sony ericsson and Samsung. It can be used with 2 phones at a time. Very good range and sound quality. Worth every penny.

Battery life is also good. I have charged it only once and its been 4 days since i charged it and its still working beautifully.

I first bought 2 of these headsets. One for my dad and one for a friend. Both of them seemed satisfied and I bought one for myself next. The sound quality is really good. And I love the switch off/on button because it prevents your headset from accidentally going into pairing mode when you switch it on. I use it with my Iphone and it pairs/connects quickly that saves me a lot of hassle. The battery lasts and lasts...I've been using it for say 2 hours everyday(when I drive) and I haven't charged it in 5 days! I like that it comes with spare loops and stuff.

On the downside, it doesn't fit well in my ears. I have a nagging sensation till I take it off. Might be the anatomy of my ears. Can't say. In one of them, the person on the other side couldn't hear me too well. i haven't tried multipairing it with my other phone. I'm skeptical about it though.

I finally bought my 4th Samsung HM1100 headset for my sister from flipkart. Guess if you're looking for a cheap alternative to talking on the phone while driving and not paying 5000 bucks fine, this is your ideal headset.

Using this product with my Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 GT-P3100 since a week.

Its-
1. easy to use. (just switch on the bluetooth on phone first and then this headset and it automatically gets connected to the phone it is paired with)
2. has good voice quality
3. battery metering facility
4. long battery backup ( i charged it full for the first time. its On for more than 12 hours a day. My average calling is about one to one and half hour a day. And still havn't charged it!!! The battery metering facility indicated it to be between 20%-80%)
5. Redialing of last dialed number just by click of button
6. fits comfortably in ear with the ability to change the ear hook orientation to use it with left or right ear
7. I can listen to songs when connected with my Nokia 5800 Xpress music but not on the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 GT-P3100 (but installing the BTmono app on the tab solved this problem too!!)
8. You get an extra ear hook (black colored, in case you break the original transparent one)

And finally excellent packaging and fast delivery by Flipkart.

I would recommend this product to first time bluetooth headset (mono) buyers like me.
