I am using this phone from last 2 months and one thing about his phone is that is not good.
Total waste of money.

Disadvantages.
1) Screen resolution is not good.
2) Cannot minimize applications ( gtalk and other apps).
3) Gets slow some times.
4) Cannot open large images.

Problems I found with this phone.
1) Phone restarts some times when u get a call.
2) Track pad does not work when the phone is exposed to sunlight.
3) Browsing is very difficult with the track pad.

The problems does not end here. There are more but I don’t remember them..

My personal recommendation is don’t buy this phone.

THIS IS FOR ALL THOSE WHO WANT TO BUY THIS PHONE.THIS IS VERY GOOD PHONE.I M USING THIS PHONE SINCE 7-8 MONTHS AND I HAVEN'T GOT ANY PROBLEM SINCE FROM THE DATE OF PURCHASING TILL TODAY.

AND FOR ALL THE OTHER REVIEWERS I WANT TO TELL THANT IF U ARE COMPLAINING ABOUT CAMERA IS NOT GOOD,VIDEOS RESOLUTION IS NOT GOOD OR MINIMUM,BIG RESOLUTIONS PICTURES ARE NOT SUPPORTED IN THIS PHONE,WIFI IS NOT GOOD AND SOMETIMES NETWORK HANG UP WHILE USING INTERNET THEN I WANT TO TELL U THAT IF U WANT A 3G PHONE WHICH IS COMPATIBLE WITH WIFI ALSO IN SUCH A CHEAP BUDGET THAN THIS TYPE OF THING ARE SUCH A JERK,BECAUSE IN SUCH A BUDGET U CAN GET A TYPE OF PHONE WHICH IS FEATURES PACK COMES WITH A LIST OF GOOD PRELOADED APPS AND INSTEAD U R COMPLAINING FOR RESOLUTION AND ETC LIKE THINGS THAN I WANT TO TELL U ONE THING STOP COMPLAINING OR EITHER EITHER EXTEND YOUR BUDGET AND BUY A FEATURES PACK PHONE LIKE SMART PHONE OR WINDOWS PHONE BECAUSE IN SUCH A BUDGET U ONLY GET CHINA PHONES WHICH SATISFIED YOUR NEEDS OF RESOLUTION ETC

I bought this phone from Flipkart...Phone looks gud, sounds gud bt doesn't work well as per my experience...when i got this phone i was quite happy with it bt there are some problems i faced while using it...
1. phone reboots automatically sometimes while you got a call. even sometimes while browsing via wi-fi.
2. i faced a big trouble with yahoo messenger only...i was able to connect via gprs bt not via wi-fi.
3. the another problem is you don't have samsung apps available for this phone yet.

After all these problems i contacted Samsung online bt they were nt able to provide solution..so just said update your phone's software @ our service centre...i visited bt too crowded. But I would like to thanks & appreciate Flipkart to co-operate with me...i requested to replace this handset and they replaced it without any excuses..and i was happy for a few days becoz phone was working fine...bt now i m facing the same problems now again.

So i just wanted to tell you people beware of buy Samsung Chat527. Thanks.

I have using this phone for last one month. This phone has some serious troubles like call droping while in call, some times losses network.
Apart from this, It is very difficult to browse internet using trackpad.

Last but most severe, it is very slow. Some times so much slow that it takes a 30 seconds to open a message from a folder.

But i would appreciate its music quality.

However, i would say if you want to buy a 3G phone at such a low cost then you do not have any choice but to go for it othewise not.

i have just purchased this phone, and i cant find any of the trouble in the phone as it mentioned in comments,
1. i am able to connect via wifi,
2. No Reboot problem,
for all those who think that it wont upport nimbuzz or ebuddy, let me tell you install their java version,
3. many guys says that it wont support jar file, you can only instal java apps in this phone via gprs only, and it will support it, if not not download its jad version, it will work for sure.
