Samsung Chat 222 Plus

I got this phone recently.

Pros:
1) Inexpensive.
2) Good battery.
3) Decent keypad.

Cons:
1) No USB cable provided.
2) When one call is going on and someone calls on second sim they get out of coverage - so not actually dual sim active as described in the description.
3) For connection to the PC - NPS software doesn't recognize this phone model. Have to use Kies 2 software which doesn't have option for SMS backup.
4) No silence option while ringing.
5) No keypad password option. Though you can set password separately for SMS, contacts, My files etc.

was cheated by samsung chat 322.looks like samsung made amends quickly.pricing is competitive.handset is lightweight and free from all the problems of samsung chat 322.but beware though;no EDGE in this one.rest every thing is okay.sound is bit less though,overall what else can u expect @ 3000 FROM SAMSUNG.better to buy this instead of a LAVA OR a MICROMAX.

Special:
1.Facebook, G Talk, Yahoo Messenger, Msn Messenger pre installed for young people to chat.
2.Choco Font is excellent.
3.Dial search option i.e If you are dialling a number 1234 it will show all the contacts list with 1234.

Some Info: Opera 4.3 and UC Web 7.7 are working perfectly. I am using Uninor and I am able to connect internet without issues.

Don't hesitate. A decent Dual Sim mobile with lots of feautures at this price range.

for e.g. gtalk,yahoo,Facebook,msn;
and the most appreciating is the Bluetooth messenger which u ll find in costly phones only.
2.it also supports Bluetooth printer like u can print any image from ur mobile through a printer which supports Bluetooth function
3.various pre installed apps like facebook,facebook(chat),and many more.
4.opera mini 6 and UC Browser 7.9 is working perfectly.
5.it also supports google maps.

Before I begin let me thank Flipkart for their prompt service and especially the way they service their 30days replacement guarantee. I had to avail this facility and was greatly impressed.

Now the review:
A decent budget phone with some very impressive features:
Look is like a premium QWERTY phone but the material is plastic throughout. Fit and finish is fine but the problem lies with its back-cover. I had to replace my earlier phone due to loosely fitted back-cover. My suggestion is not to keep removing the back-cover very often.
QWERTY key pad is easy to use
Speaker is of good quality
Easy SIM swap through one key but it’s a dual standby phone: so only one SIM remains active while receiving a call.
No EDGE support but GPRS works fine for AIRTEL, VODAPHONE AND UNINOR. I haven’t tried other SIMs yet.
I couldn’t use the latest version of Opera Mobile Browser but Opera 4 is working fine.
No apps support from Samsung for this phone. Even some very useful apps like iMobile form ICICI and Breeze from SCB do not work in this phone. NGPAY works fine though.
Processor seems quite fast and with no lag time while navigating different menus.
Camera is simply good for nothing……..and I really do not expect.
Music player is decently loud.
Battery backup is good but would depend on its use. Expect two days backup atleast.
No full version of any games available.
Facebook, Twitter are good to use.

Overall a good budget phone is what I feel about this mobile.
I am a happy owner of this model.
