Samsung Galaxy Pocket S5300

Well...this is very nice phone. It has got a Massive 3gb internal memory, a nice 832 mhz processor (nice for a average user like me). A very nice touch, good interface. The only bad thing about the phone is a touch screen. But seeing the price (as of now) this hone is worth a buy. A very nice phone. Just go for it.

Samsung Galaxy Pocket S5300 is worth buying in this price range. It provides all the features Galaxy Y offers along with HUGE 3 GB memory and the only difference is a bit smaller screen.

But really, smaller screen is not an issue as it has same resolution as galaxy Y so this results in a better display. While browsing or doing any other task, it is not screen size that matters much but it is resolution that effects the display area.

In android internal, memory matters a lot as many of applications install only in phone memory (and cannot be moved to memory card even with app2sd, though there is no need of app2sd in Android 2.3 as it does this task itself). More internal memory means more apps can be installed to phone memory making them faster in comparison to the one installed on phone. So 3 GB memory provides a great advantage to this phone.

The camera quality is normal - it is good when light is adequate and decrease when lighting is not proper. One thing the camera miss is auto-focus feature. It should be there.

Other features like GPS, accelerometer, compass are nice and work perfectly. Accelerometer makes gaming a great experience.

Overall this is a value for money phone with a balance of features. My Rating: 4.5/5

I have been using this phone for last 2 months..
Its a superb low budget android phone to enter in the world of android.. its excellent feature is 3GB internal memory.. which allows u install various apps (in 1GB system memory) n rest is for the ur daily use... performance wise superb...
dont go for Galaxy Y.. which offers only around 180 MB of internal memory which shows Memory Full errors when u install few apps.. however u can use apps to link Ur SD card memory to increase d memory but pocket is offering much more amount of internal memory at lower price.. and rest of the features are also almost same..
no problem with the signal reception unit.. its excellent..
Battery Back up time is also good..
Touch is also excellent..
I recommend this phone to everyone..
Even flip kart offers excellent delivery service..

the samsung galaxy pocket is the best phone for the price range as i have research many phones to buy in that range of 6000-6500 but there are some phone which are better than this phone cheaper than this phone BUT there are not worth to buy because of the lack of quality parts in those phones (example the Micromax ninja) so i recommend people to buy this phone as i bought this phone from flipkart and i have fallen i love with is phone as for the specifications are very good for that rate

it has 3GB of internal memory
2MP camera which is very clear
good audio sound
expandable memory 32GB
good battery life ( it lasts me for nearly 2days even 3)
bluetooth 3.0 really fast speeds

disadvantages
small screen some times it is irritating BUT MANAGEABLE
pixel density is low but better compared to galaxy y

but at last i want to tell flipkart buyers
it is very good phone for normal using
BUT NOT FOR PLAYING HD GAMES ON
IF YOU WANT TO PLAY HD GAMES YOU HAVE TO ROOT YOUR PHONE WHICH IS A RISK AND IT CAN LEAD TO DAMAGES TO YOUR PHONE LOSS OF WARRANTY

SO I RECOMMEND FLIPKART BUYERS WHO ARE BUYING THE PHONE FOR PLAYING HD OR ANY HIGH END GAMES NOT TO BUY THIS PHONE

BUT FOR REST IT IS THE BEST PHONE YOU CAN EVER BUY FOR THIS RATE

screen size is the most disappointing thing else it would have been a killer.... 3gb internal memory at 7k is really awesome( guys like me whose phone have low internal memory will know it better) ... with 3 gb of internal memory average user who dont root their phone will be very happy .... according to me this is a better option if you can compromise the screen and camera...
