Samsung Galaxy Pop S5570

I went through all android phones available in market with price range from Rs 8000 - 15000 in search for affordable android. But I was not at all satisfied with anyone. Some phones having good android implementation but lack in resolution quality, some lack in battery life yet expensive, some has very typical android implementation (mundane UI), Now this seem to be a good and affordable android phone with is price tag of around Rs 9000.
Pros:
1: Latest android 2.2,
2: capacitive touch,
3: bigger screen size 3.14 inches,
4: HSDPA 7.2 Mbps which is really good.
5: Camera 3.15 Mp

Cons:
1: Relatively weak battery 1200 MAh,
2: Less resolution 240 X 320 Pixels,

Overall a very nice phone at this price tag. I am looking to buy this set.
Beside this I found LG optimus fine but I believe LG is not an experienced mobile maker so If you wanna buy android phone LG should not be a choice.

Pop is a good phone, worth for money, android rocks in it but due to poor battery cant use the android downloaded games... camera quality is good but missing flash, .... radio cant b played with speakers only handsfree,.... good launch by samsung but shit battery............ if u still want to purchase go ahead... best features at lower price....

i purchased this phone last saturday. was surprised to find that no manual was included, not even in the CDs. i finally managed a manual for samsung galaxy mini though from the net. although the phone is good, i found it extremely difficult to install android apps. when i logged thru my pc in the android market, it said that " no device was associated with this a/c" , although i had opened my gmail a/c from my handset. samsung apps wouldn't support saying "a policy issue with google",prevented support. i found that lot of other people with a similar problem of accessing the android market.
in brief, it was difficult for me as a android rookie to use the full functionality of this phone. potential buyers should see these issues before buying this product.

For the price it offers, Galaxy pop is a great android phone with a decent 3.2 MP camera, large screen in comparison to other androids, one may complain about the resolution which is due to the large screen of 3.14 inches and lower pixels. The other downside of the phone is the weak battery. The phone does not even lasts for 10 hrs on WiFi and even without WiFi battery problem still does exist.
If one can live with battery problem and lower screen res., the phone is great to use whether its the super smooth touch gestures unlike in the HTC wildfire and other Motorola low end androids.
It also possesses 3G unlike BB curve 8520 . I find it as a more sensible option than a BB curve as internet browsing is relatively easier with a 3G advantage plus a plethora of free Apps unlike BB/Nokia smartphones.
At a sugary price tag of Rs.8000 one can opt for a extra battery for extended battery life

I just bought a White Samsung Galaxy Pop yesterday and I'm absolutely in love with the phone. It's a great Android phone for the price you pay. I was considering a Dell XCD 35 and HTC Wildfire but finally chose the Samsung coz of 1. Lesser Price. Samsung cost almost 2K lesser than the Dell and HTC phone. 2. Samsung had Android version 2.2 while the other two were still running 2.1 versions. So it was a better OS phone for a lesser price deal for me :-). The only thing I had to compromise on was the Camera Resolution. Samsung had 3MP camera while Wildfire comes with a 5MP camera. But I didn't care since I hardly use the phone camera anyways.
