This handset attracted a lot of reviews in many webpages. SAMSUNG had been criticised severely by some users for setting the price at 11k for India, with inconsistent pricing overseas.
Specification of this handset could have been much better at this price range. The battery should be more improved one-(1500mah)and proven energy-efficient android should be installed.
I think, this set would be available between 8k to 9k in open market in India within weeks.
Some user review would give an idea to understand the efficacy of specs. Some users abroad say that, the optical trackpad is of not good quality and so is the lagging problem. According to them battery is not bad but it could have been better with an improved one.
Still this is the only set of its kind in India and customers should wisely choose it, if they need the specs. SAMSUNG can think of improvisation of specs and appropriate reduction of price.

I ordered this product on 2nd March at 12pm and received it at 3rd March 10.30am,thats just 22.5hrs.So that speaks much about the commitment of flipkart and the way they tend to grow.

Packing:
When a newly launched brand in a completely new market segment in a country like India follows International Standards,this is what you receive.The packing itself speaks a lot,it truly convinces that in future you can make online purchases carefree as the packing is really VERY IMPRESSIVE AND TAMPER PROOF.

Product:
There was a time when Samsung had the hardware but the software was where it lacked but thanks to google,they have overcome it.
The product is the best money can buy at this price.Compared to other products available in this range or even for a thousand bucks more,the device offers more than what you can expect

The bulit quality is excellent,feels like pro literally.The software needs no introduction.The phone is quite slim and yes the touchscreen is responsive like high end samsung devices.The screen estate does fall short for a touchscreen device but then optical trackpad and qwerty are there to say sorry for that.
Pros:

Excellent Built Quality

Front VGA Camera(I did make few video calls on the eve of Holi and the person at other side had no grudges about the video quality)

Great apps (Apps from market help you personalize the device way you please)

Excellent email client

Great Audio Quality (Both through loudspeaker and provided earplugs)

Accesories are top notch (Carries the same ear plug as that on Galaxy Note)

Cons:
Average Screen Quality (Display feels primitive in today's market)

Limited Phone Memory

Camera Quality not upto the mark

Conclusion:If you need a budget device for browsing ,email purpose,music on the go,social networking and chat above all(qwerty +touch on an android really handles them well),then this is the device.At the price its a bargain.
Out there you may get the device at a bit cheaper price but believe me if you dont want to waste time searching for the lowest price in the market instead spend some quality time at home,just order it at flipkart and rest be assured about quality

I am not really sure as to why Samsung launched this without doing their homework right.
LOOK & FEEL: similar to a cheap Chinese phone, unlike most other Samsung products.
BATTERY: Very weak - not suited even for a single sim 3G phone - with 3G on, you rarely get decent back up. I thought this must be due to a new battery, but the problem persists after 7-8 full charge-discharge cycles.
SPEED: Doesn't really feel like a Samsung device (I am a Samsung fan and a loyal user, so disappointed more) - despite a close to 850 MGhz processor, it is very slow even with 2 apps...big disappointment;
SCREEN: Bigger disappointment still! No pinch & zoom, low image quality with bad image display quality, slow responsiveness of screen.....list of disappointments is too long.....
PRICE: Too high - not worth the money...

GOOD PART: Good to have 2 SIM cards toigether, though if you are talking on one, the other acts as if it's switched off (Dual stand by NOT Dual Active) - this means you can't conference 2 different calls on 2 lines. Also, when talking on one line, you completely miss the other call...

the phone is just awesome although some of the apps not compatible with this phone as display is in landscape mode.
the camera is of great quality, battery drains around just half in the whole day wen charged all night long including my talk time of around 7-8 hours.
the phone is simply gr8.

I strongly recommend if u r not fond of much apps, although many apps get rotated and work in portrait mode (eg: viber).

yes there is a trouble finding a cover and screen guard for this phone as it is just launched a week ago.

This is a half-hearted effort by Samsung. The screen is too small for being a touch screen, the "touch" is NOT sensitive enough like most other devices, the pinch and zoom - a key Android feature DOES NOT WORK on this device, the screen resolution could have been much better (you see pixelated images - not expected when you spend close to 10K), the device lags in many applications despite a 832GHz processor perhaps because RAM is too low to handle multiple applications, keypad is not comfortable, battery is very bad (they should have put at least 1700-1800mAH battery for a 3G Dual Sim device...most importantly, in India they have at the moment launched only black color whereas white one looks exceptionally good - black color gives a very cheap plastic look in this model (unlike Blackberry)...In a nutshell, it's better to wait for some time to get a better de\vice from competitors (or perhaps Samsung themselves). This device is NOT worth the price that's why Samsung themselves have been reducing the price even before launch (from 10,990 to 9500 as on date - will go down further soon). Even if you have to buy this one, wait for a few weeks to get a better price. Initial experience and market response is bad...
