Scratch card was not pasted properly for the mobile phone, Facing some more problem with signal(tower)for the mobile. The contact numbers provided with the bill is not correct, i cant able to connect with those contact numbers.

This is my first Android mobile. This is the least priced android mobile among famous brands like Samsung, HTC etc. Overall, this mobile is very good. Some of the cons I found are

1) 256 MB RAM. This is making all the apps in my mobile run very slow. As a result, the mobile is very slow.

2) Most of the famous games like Subway Surfers, temple Run etc.. are incompatible with this mobile.

i bought this phone the day it released and was very hapy but what i didnt realise was the revolution in smartphones would take place only a few months later...... today 15/5/2013 my phone is smaller , has a weaker processor and a miserly 2 mp camera which is very bad as compared to the competition...i bought it for around 8k i would recomend any interested buyer to forget this and find a more up to date phone

would like to recomend if your budget is 7000-9000 and only single sim usage

Flipkart confirmed on record Amith Das that the device is usb tether ready and is so stated on the spec sheet . But there was no drivers provided nor could be downloaded from Samsung site . When Flipkart was contacted they stated out of hat that usb tether will not work on XP and that i need to set up Android development environment and such stuff . The device touch screen is disgusting and one can never type what he means, the ringer does not work as you set it to be . As you attempt to answer a call the scratch unlocking will just not work as long as 2 minutes try.Accessing and registering on Samsung site is disgusting. The indians are being duped of their money by dumping the beta products with no support whatsover. . You just cant stop the device to be on the net and will consume up whatever talk time balance you have against your will.It is all a big networked conspiracy nexus operators- manufacturers-marketing cos.

I am a user of this phone from last 1yr & 3 mnths, the touch quality is ok. all over the phone is ok. but a feeling of dissatisfaction!! after a year, the battery gets down, and if you use internet then it will die soon!! :( the android version, the ram, and the very low internal memory makes you irritated and makes your phone limited to certain apps only! you can't have all the fun like your friends do. If you work heavy, it may get struck and you have to clear the ram!!
If you are a samsung fan & needs a cheap phone, then can go on with this budget phone!
Otherwise chose HTC explorer, with around same budget and also has a better performance than the galaxy Y! there is an another option to chose other than android, windows 8- Nokia 520, whose price is some what bigger than the two, but is a trending phone!! Hope you got some thing useful :)

Processor and ram speed is go
od say enough to handle more than average use.

Touch screen is good as iphone.

Battery is average~1200 MAh.

A-gps and HSDPA works fine

my recommendation to use 3*4 keypad instead Querty keypad if you are beginners.

Now enjoying Whatsapp , Viber , Tango and other android apps...
Best for users with low budget but in the need of a smart phone ..

Strictly not for GAMERS... Does fail to support heavy apps ... but works for me.... Dont fall for Microman a57 as i already had and was forced to buy a better phone and finally found this one ...

About the phone, well its cute with Andriod 2.3 although outdated but suffices all requirements of a smartphone. Plus phone itself is very light and handy to use.
