Samsung Guru FM E1220

This is an Amazing phone. It has a very The 4.5cm screen is very bright with crystal clear display & large fonts. It has FM Radio with very good quality sound reception. It supports 9 different Indian languages apart from English as well. The memory of the phone is more than other phones in it's class. It has 1000 phonebook storage & 500 SMS storage. The phone also has 3.5mm earphone jack apart from samsung proprietary headset jack. The phone also has Bright Torch which is very usefull. The phone has Mobile Tracker 2.0 pre-installed in it. So we can track the device in case of theft. The phone is provided with 800mAh battery. The battery life is really good with talktime of upto 8hrs & standby time of upto a week. The 4-way navigation key in the centre is very easy to use. The phone is provided with anti-dust keypad so that's an added advantage. The only thing I wished was that inspite of this phone having a 3.5mm jack samsung has just provided their proprietary headset. Some organisations does not allow use of camera phones in their premises. So this phone is great option for such people as this phone doesn't have a camera. Also it is very simple to use & the display is also large so elderly people can also use it effeciently. I strongly recommend this to everyone.

Bought the phone from flipkart, and got it within 36 hrs. Used it for 3,4 days and it is started to giving me echo problem(Person on other end will also receive his own voice). I asked for replacement and flipkart did it, and gave me new phone. But again the same problem is coming in the new handset also. And my one month period is over. But by using handsfree problem is solved. :(


Pros:
1. Nice FM sound quality.
2. Slim-trim look
3. keypad is awesome.
4. UI and features are good.
5. 3.5 mm audio jack is available, so i can use my fav philips earphone. :)
6. Battery backup is nice.
Cons:
1. Echo problem(Found it in both the handset).
2. Only one game installed (finished 18 level in one day,only 2 is remaining.)

Best in his segment, if samsung solve the echo problem.

I have been using this phone for a month. In short this is a great mobile with terrific VFM (Value For Money). Bought it @ Rs 1290.

Pros:
1. 1.8 inch large and very clear superb display
2. Good keypad.
3. Battery backup is awesome. Standby time around 5 days and talk time is around 7-8 hrs.
4. FM quality is good.
5. You get two headphones jack. (i) Samsung Proprietary (ii) 3.5 mm jack.

Cons:-
1. Back cover is very shiny and reflective. Hence is a fingerprint magnet and can be scratched.

Overall a nice cell with great VFM.

I got fed up with Nokia basic phone' voice/noise leak from the back of the phone. I needed a basic phone, with no nonsense (Bluetooth, Touch, Camera etc.). This phone works for me.

Great battery life. Good sound quality from the ear piece, headset on voice and Radio.

I took away one star because of the headset is not a regular 3.5 mm compatible. Instead it fits in the same slot as the charger. Weirdness is the fact there is in fact a 3.5 mm jack on the top of the phone. Not sure what Samsung designers were thinking.

Overall very happy with the phone. Of course Flipkart rocks on price, shipment and customer service.

this is really a good phone with simple features.its too easy to use and have a really great battery back up.the fm is good too.it has 2 types of headphone jack.one is 3.5mm another is conventional samsung jack port.the sound is a bit low in the 3.5mm jack(maybe my headphone problem).ptherwise its worth buying.it took a bit long to get delivered from flipkart(they said it was courier problem).otherwise the packing was awesome and service from flipkart was awesome too.
