Buyer BewareWould like to second thoughts of other people with regards to this phone. Samsung is selling the I9100G as Galaxy S2 in India even though it has inferior specs. I went a bought a S2 after being promised that it was indeed I9100 (not flipkart) and it turned out to be a I9100G. The display piece in the store was a I9100. The sales people were unaware that something like I9100G even exists. My advice.. if you like the specs of I9100G and willing to pay the same price as I9100, then go for it. The screen is the same even though the internals are different. If you think samsung is cheating the indi… (Expand)

Beware !!Samsung is creeping in the SGS II I9100 with the G series i.e SGS II I9100G without intimation due to shortage created by high demand. Though this looks similar to the non G version, its performance is slightly lower than the former. It is reported that it does not support certain games and applications and lags in certain cases/apps.

Samsung Galaxy S2 -i9100 & i9100GI just bought this phone after reading a lot about it. The i9100 vs i9100G issue really helped me make an informed decision. yes the i9100 is not easy to get in india. many big outlets are not even aware of the differences.to be on the safe side i searched for the i9100 and bought it. to identify it from the box- the i9100 is mentioned as GT-i9100LKAIU while the i9100G is GT-i9100LKGIU.

Galaxy S2 I1900GI read a lot of recent reviews here about the comparison between I1900 and the I1900G. I got the I1900G from a local store recently. I am not a pro android user. All i can say is i love the phone, regardless of its inferior processor and GPU, when compared with the I1900. It still gives the same bright screen, smooth touch features, a brilliant camera and superb connectivity through wifi. I haven't faced any heating issues in a week, despite heavy gaming and video viewing. Battery lasts a day and a half, which is decent for this phone. I would recommend the I1900G to any one and everyone. I di… (Expand)
