Samsung mPower TV S239

I am very satisfied with the set. It has a very slim smart pretty look, so light weighted. camera resolution is far beyond your expectation. keypads is very smooth for text messaging. it has a number of best features, but the best of the bests is its battery backup. can hold the charge for 4days. the display screen is very large that u will actually love it for the best wallpapers to set.it provides so many options that u can hardly get in any other mobile with such a low price. in short, this the best mobile I have ever bought with multiple features at minimum price. JUST GO FOR IT..........

This phone's biggest plus point is that one can send SMS in virtually any South Asian language whereas most other (even expensive) phones do not want to support anything language other than Hindi or English.

Other plus point is expandable SD card support upto 16GB.

A few negatives:
1)Default language on phone book search sets itself to English and does not remember the previous setting - you may have to use language write options to set the language to other than English every time you want to search non-English contact names.

2)SD card suddenly got corrupted. So you should not rely on the phone for back of critical data.

3)T9 is restricted to only English or Urdu/Hindi in English script but not other Indian languages in their native script.

4)Battery life is just OK, not great.

5)Music player does not play in background mode. In directory mode, the phone does not remember the last song played.

Conclusion : For people looking to send SMS with option available other than Hindi, simple music facility - this phone is quite good for the price.

I bought this phone from flipkart few days ago , initially i was in a doubt whether should I get it online but then I made my mind and placed the order. Well as usual flipkart delivered it within couple of days. Now here comes the review about the device, I think this is the best CDMA device within this price range and additionally you are getting the ultimate brand name, features are awesome, not a matter whether it's music quality or battery back up it is the best undoubtedly. additionally I would like to say one thing the key tones are really phenomenal every time you press a button you get to hear new sounds loving it, thanks samsung , thanks flipkart.

Have been using this phone for last more than 1.5 years with a HUGE usage daily (i.e. average TT is 2.5 Hrs ) but still there is no major issue have been found.... Even after this much time my battery back-up is comfortably good. And as mentioned earlier in the other reviews, Internet has been working so good with EVDO.

Few issues are like -- U cant install a software with some more size. Internet browser creates some issues and cant reject the call, which is coming in waiting, when the oncoming call is going on...

And yeah, would like to correct one of the reviewer that, Conference facility is not there...But conference is absolutely fine.....

Overall...... Its a thumbs up for this CDMA phone....

I purchased this cell from flipkart just a month ago.
With Brew as its OS, many java based applications could easily be installed either by downloading from the phone itself or from the net on your PC.
I just installed a few ebooks and Angry Birds game that I had downloaded from the net.

Pros:
good sound, good music player, good still camera, good voice recorder, easy installation of small java based applications.

Cons:
video recording is not satifactory, cell restarts sometimes when checking account balance or when trying to open an html file, Browser is not good, TV app is slow.

In totality it is a great cell with a small price.
