Delivered by Flipkart in excellent packaging. DVD drives works great! Has a premium look and feel. But extremely disappointed by the seller - Thevaluestore. The product pack has label saying Maximum Retail Price of Rs 1750. The product is listed in Flipkart with Rs 2999 price discounted at Rs 2150. I paid 2150 against the MRP of 1750. How can any seller charge more than MRP? Is it not illegal?? And more so how can Flipkart allow sellers to abuse this platform and resort to illegal practices. ...

FLIPKART: Delivery was perfect as usual, in mint condition and before I was expecting it.

PRODUCT: I've always had issues with Optical Drives... they ussually start malfunctioning after sometime. My Laptop is 3 years old, it was top of the line when I bought it and still supports most of the new games/software that come out on the market.

Unfortunately the DVD drive no longer works, I have no idea why and it will be too expensive to get it fixed.

I got the DVD writer in hand barely 2 days after I ordered it. The packaging was done very well and the delivery status was updated all the time so that I could know precisely when to expect the delivery.
I had two items in my order, which were delivered separately. The only thing that could be improved is to deliver all items together.

The Drive was used very rare., I had problem in the drive (05-nov-2014), and found my purchase invoice and Tried to register the Product.

I can't able to register the Product on the website. The samsung website reports "Invalid Serial Number"

I don't know where to claim Warrenty.

This is an excellent product. I busted my laptop dvd drive and hence wanted to buy an external dvd writer. I was looking at different models out there and finally decided to buy this one as this drive had an extra feature which very few drives had

This drive is pretty good and works by connecting just one usb port, but this again would vary from laptop to laptop and the power available on the USB port.

The read and write speeds are pretty good and definitely worth the money.

Not a good DVD writer , lags while burning a dvd, can't play directly from it , can't play games directly , have to copy from the dvd paste it on the hard disk is the only option
