Wave 3 has a Qualcomm Scorpion SOC...Clocked at 1.4 GHZ and it features a ADRENO 205 GPU . so i would like to correct info in one of the reviews made earlier by a buyer..
Bada has limited Apps but samsung will merge Bada OS with Tizen and then the its would be backed by Intel and then one can expect some good apps..
I have a Wave II and its a really good phone and having used bada 2.0 , i must admit it has very much improved from the previous iterations

I've been using the Samsung Wave S8500 since Aug 2010, and i tell you, the phone has an excellent hardware. The OS simply sucks...there have been hardly 2-3 updates since i purchased the phone and the latest update (2-3 months back) is causing me a serious head-ache.. once in 5 times after a call, the phone gets stuck and restarts automatically.
Secondly, there are only limited apps on BADA and i doubt if at all they are going to develop any applications. You will hardly find any useful appl...

Appreciate samsung for making such a good phone at such a low price. Metal body, 4" AMOLED screen, great 5 MP camera, 3G, WiFi, GPS, Decent battery, 720p video recording and what not it has everything. It has everything i want.

Still i don't buy this phone for one reason. Skype is not available for this phone. No use of that front camera. What a pity !

If ur looking for a phone in the Samsung family but which stands apart in looks, look no further!! The Wave 3 is a perfect gadget that meets the style requirements..The web browsing and downloading speed is fine. Powered by the 1.4Ghz processor, the Wave III does multi-tasking with ease. The Bada platform is satisfactory but not as entertaining as the Anroid.

Wane III is an excellent mobile for music and video lovers. It plays out of the box DivX and all HD videos up to 720p. Including MKV and all other formats.

It has a great 5 MP camera which captures excellent videos.

The limitations we have is the apps, we dont have exhaustive applications like in Android market. We have certain essentials apps like Facebook, Twitter and some games though.

If you are not an app freak and would love to have a great Music and Video mobile, with a good cam, go...

Many people complain BADA is the worst OS out there and all. But its all rubbish. Unless you are an app-freak, you'll find no problems with the BADA. Also BADA 2.0 comes with much more upgrades than its predecessor. The Touchwiz Interface has made Wave 3 interface look more like android.
