SanDisk Memory Card MicroSDHC 16GB

I got this card it is really impressive they are selling class 4 memory card in just rs 1019, it has a total memory of 14.89 gb and speed is avg 6-7 mbps which is more then enough for mobile phones ,fast delivery and very good packaging when i got it took me a struggle to get to the memory card. Overall its a good deal,thumb up from my side.

The Card is exactly the same as given in pics, that is Sandisk 16GB class 4 MicroSD and it comes with 5 yrs warranty, i bought this card due to its excellent random access speed as i needed it for my samsung focus windows phone 7 handset which requires higher random access speeds instead of just read/write speeds and its incompatible even with some class 10 microsd cards!! I researched a lot and came to conclusion that sandisk 16GB class 4 has higher random access speeds even when compared to other class 6/10 microsd cards, this card is working perfectly with my phone and its a must buy for all samsung focus owners.

Received the card on Day 3 from ordering. Packing was good.

Speed and capacity test showed no problems with the card.
Storage capacity = about 15.2 GB;
writing speed = 5.11 MBps;
reading speed = 17.9 MBps

I then copied about 8GB of assorted audio files ranging in size from 2MB to 20 MB, to the card from my external hard drive; writing speed was about 4.3 MBps; the total transfer took about 30 minutes.

I got this card for my old phone which I use as a casual mp3 player. The speed is sufficient for me since I may only transfer a few files at a time and not keep changing everything all the time. Writing 100MB will take less than half a minute. I would say it is good value for its price (of course, if it continues to perform well without developing bad sectors, etc. after repeated writing and deleting).

However, if you plan to capture and store high quality pictures or videos on this card in your camera phone, I think it would be better to go for a higher class. My guess is that this card may take more time to write the data after taking each photo (making you wait longer after each shot) if you set the picture resolution high, and also, video recording (especially full HD) may have some problems because of the lower class of this card. On my Samsung Galaxy Note, I use a 32GB Class 10 card for taking pictures and videos.

I purchased this card one year back from flipcart for Rs 1100 and have been using it in my Motorola Defy since then. Okay its class 4 but now it is available for less than 600.

It is huge to fulfill all your memory needs. I never encountered any problems with it and although it is class 4 I never felt any time lag or buffer overflow while using it.

A good product overall and Sandisk products are better than the rivals.

A sure value for money and a must for all smart phone users.

Firstly, a big Thank You to Flipkart. Their delivery service is simply impeccable, delivering well before the stipulated time, and that too in great packaging. Makes me wanna come back and order many more products. Kudos!
As for the product, well, in one word, its SUPERLATIVE.
Reasons:
1. Got it very cheap (Rs599 only!). Couldn't find anywhere else cheaper than this. Ordered as soon as I saw it:)
2. The SanDisk quality and trust.
3. Very good reading and transferring speed.
4. Works on my Nokia 2690, which, according to its specifications, is expandable only upto 8GB! Great news for me, as I could use this product at once, rather than have to buy a new phone and then use it, which was my earlier plan.

Just one thing, that it has default storage space of only 14.8GB, rather than 16. Might have to do something with the class rating, I suppose (This one's a class 4). But, I don't mind. There's still a lot of space for all my songs and movies!:-);-)
All in all, a 5/5 from me. Go buy it, if you want loads of memory offered by a great company at very cheap prices.
