Sands of the Desert

Serepta has always longed for adventure. But as a young princess of the corrupt desert kingdom of Shamar, she is held in the iron fist of her father, the king. She longs to escape from the cold walls of the palace, and from the cruelty of her twisted cousin, Desmond. But that is the last thing from her father's mind, and the final insult comes when he announces that she must marry Desmond. Serepta is now confronted with a chance for the very thing she has always wanted: an adventure. She must flee from her vile cousin across many mysterious lands, and her only companion is a wolf, who is unlike any creature the princess has met before. Serepta must come to terms with the concept of fate and solve the mysteries of her family's past. In the end, the princess realizes that she is a strong, independent woman capable of handling any challenges that come her way.
