Sanyo NC-MQN04ENSSP20A-4S Battery Charger

Sanyo eneloop is some awesome tech. They come factory pre-charged and have very low current drain when not used. (They claim 75% of full capacity after 3 years at 20°C. It will be faster in our climate, but still very good compared to conventional NiMH batteries.) They have very low internal resistance too.(good for high current demand devices, like cameras)
The charger included is not a fast charger. It charges AA 2000 mah batteries in 12 hours. Slower charging gives batteries a better life. However, if you need to keep charging faster, get a quick charger from somewhere and buy the batteries separately(available on flipkart).
I use these batteries on a camera flash (Nissin Di 466 for Canon) and it charges it much faster than duracell alkaline batteries.
Btw, you get a charger 4 batteries. This is not mentioned properly here(though shown correctly in the image).
The batteries are made in japan while the charger is made in china.

Sanyo eneloops are LSDs (Low self discharge batteries). It means once you charge them and keep them unused, they hold charge for a long long time in case you dont use them. Also dont be fooled by their low 2000 capacity. A 2500 mah normal non-lsd battery looses charge fast within few days of charge and reach 2000.

Note that 2500 mah batteries better if you charge and use the batteries within few days of charging. Else LSDs are a way to go. Hope this helps

I got these from amazon a few years back and they rock. I rarely charge them for my use but they are always available with full charge when I need them. Also these batteries have no memory effect which is good.

Got one of this for Rs.1175/- but was surprised to receive batteries with the capacity of 1900 mAh instead of 2000 mAh. Never heard Sanyo Eneloop manufactures rechargable batteries with 1900mAh capacity. Anyway, I wish flipkart would provide more details in the specification or at least mention the capacity which is very important.

Charger comes with four batteries. A NiMH or alkaline battery should perform at its Ah rating, with high-drain loads, like flashes, while discharging for the entire discharge duration, though they don't. Eneloops are designed to perform more consistently in such situations.

Great rechargeable batteries. Work much better & quicker than normal alkaline batteries such as Duracell, etc. Good for all gadgets.
I bought these for my canon 430EX flash & they work a charm. I popped them into the flash right out of the box and my flash was ready to fire within 2 seconds.
Haven't used the charger yet but good build quality & seems alright.
Flipkart service is just amazing, they expedited my delivery when i called them.
