AMD or NVIDIA

Both the companies are equally good and very competitive with their graphic cards, but let me lay down some facts, so that it makes it easier for people in this dilemma to choose between the two

1) Nvidia has acquired a lot of companies like exluna that provide 3d rendering software.

2) Nvidia has a very firm hold in the gaming development industry, the reason why you will hear "nvidia" at the beginning of games a lot more than amd.

3) Nvidia acquired ageia inc, the company that developed ...

Best single core graphics card on the market bar TITAN

@Flipkart??? I bought this on 18th of April and got it delivered on 24th. I paid Rs. 34223 for this and now today I see that the price has been slashed to Rs 32860!!!!! Can you arrange for a refund of the extra amount I paid?? Its not even been 3 weeks total!!! I think retailers like Newegg, Microcenter etc. does that kind of price-match.

Coming to the product. I would not go into any details of HD7970 GHz Edition specifically. Anyone looking for a product of such calibre should already know...

For gaming? LOL

This card is for multi monitor and some think it is for hard core gaming? No! for 30k u can get too much better, well it can play the high end games but do you know r9 270x is just 6% weaker than this card for gaming? while it only costs around 15k.So u wanna cost more 15k for 6% more performance? I don't think so.That is why I would recommend gtx 970 if a Nvidia user and r9 280 if AMD user. But it is not a bad card at all.I recommend r9 270x if u want to save your money.
