First of all.. FLIPKART, GOOD JOB yet again. You have never disappointed me in your service. I got the DVD set in 2 days after placing the order.

Coming to the Sarabhai series, well its a classic. We always wanted to have this series. Quality of DVDs is very good. Me and my wife watched all the episodes last weekend. We do that.. Watching Marathon of any series. I did miss an episode here and there which I will catch up later.
I am very happy to have this as a part of my collection. It is a real stress buster.

A subtle and satirical rib tickling comedy which takes the audience into a state of uproarious mirth , without resorting to slapstick humour.I loved the show when it came on T.V and as the clock struck nine I left every thing and tuned into star one . My favourite character , Dushyant and his obsession with gadgets bordering on absurdity provides for a rich sources of comedy. A must for all connoisseur of comedy.

We (my wife & me) love this serial like anything. Clean, sensible comedy - hours of entertainment. Already seen almost all episodes more than 5-7 times. Few times on TV channels and couple of them on YouTube. Had been hoping to buy it since long. Glad finally got it on DVD (instead of VCD) and also no Ads. The DVD set is lovely, colorful DVDs, each neatly listing the 5 episodes contained. Although few episodes are missing, glad to have at least 50 of the 70 episodes on DVD. Already done viewing the set once after it arrived from Flipkart.

i loved this show on television and its even better to own a copy of it ....the collection of mayas saries is so elegant....nice show with great comic timing and is a must own series collection..waiting now for the next episode releases....

I've seen this serial on TV and finally to get it in DVD is a dream come true!
Its so good to see them without any break. And yes Maya Sarabhai rocks!

For the first time ever,I actually enjoyed watching a TV serial.Obviously,one which combines the talents of Sumeet Raghavan,Satish Shah and Ratna Pathak Shah leaves you with no other option.And it's not even of the type of serials where comedy is generated by showing a lot of characters as a trifle insane.Sarabhai V/s Sarabhai leaves you laughing through some wonderfully created situations.A realistic feel,great actors and probably the best dialogue writers.
In short,I totally love Sarabhai V/s Sarabhai and I do hope they come out with the next season soon.

The serial was fabulous and infact, even after so many years has not lost its sheen. My kids enjoyed themselves with a daily dose of Sarabhai vs Sarabhai and what thrilled me most was the fact that even today's kids were attracted to this serial, rather than the regular shows aired on television.
Each episode is different and has no bearing on the last, so you can start with any episode and you do not miss anything.

The delivery from Flipkart was prompt. Kudos to that.

SVS is a class apart comedy which needs to be with collectors for their collection...

Just waitung for Khichdi and Instant Khichdi to arrive on DVD set to add to my collection....

Will surely have, when all of them are available and add them to my purchases....

I first saw this serial or sitcom 6 years ago and since then whenever a rerun is shown I make it a point to see it - I have no words to describe for this show.Now thanks to flipkart I can see this show again at my leisure.

The only grouse is that some crucial 20 episodes have been removed from this DVD set out of 70 episodes aired in TV.

Otherwise its fabulous set to own - highly recommended.I hope Universal releases the remaining 20 episodes.

Sarabhai v/s Sarabhai is undoubtedly among the best comedy shows ever shown on Indian television. Its a quirky and refreshing take on both the 'middle class' and the 'uptown folks', in the Yes Minister style of comedy to a fair bit.It's great that we finally have the official set of DVDs - is definitely a must have!

The only grouse I have with this set is that it does not have ALL 70 episodes - only 50 (5 per dvd). Quite a few episodes are missing, for instance, Rosesh's Poetry Book Publication, Baldev and Swaroopa's dog Deepender, Maya falls in love, and some more episodes. Can't figure out why they left out the remaining 20 episodes from the dvd set - this is what takes away the one star, otherwise it was 5 stars all the way for me.
