Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel (English, Paperback, Krishna Balraj)
Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel is a book, which examines the extraordinary contribution of Sardar Patel in India's struggle for freedom.
Summary of the Book
Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel is a book about the exceptional contribution of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, which prevented the British empire from tightening its hold over India. As the prime minister of Britain, Churchill was given the responsibility to prepare a strategy to balkanize India. Despite all the efforts put by the British to balkanize India by creating princely states, Sardar Vallabhai Patel made sure that India remained united. Patel's most significant gain was that Britain would not interfere in the settlement with the princes. This led to the integration of over 500 princely states in a period of 18 months, and thus a united India was created.
