About the Authors

Raghuram G. Rajan is the 23rd Governor of the Reserve Bank of India, the former chief economic adviser to India's Ministry of Finance and chief economist at the International Monetary Fund.

A graduate of the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, Dr. Rajan completed his Ph.D. in Management at the MIT Sloan School of Management.

Luigi Zingales is an Italian-American academician currently serving as the finance professor at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He has also written A Capitalism for the People: Recapturing the Lost Genius of American Prosperity.
