Science for Tenth Class: Physics (Part 1) contains sets of solved and unsolved questions based on the pattern prescribed by CCE. The Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) is an educational system that prescribes new teaching techniques and evaluation methods for middle school education. This pattern helps in assessing the student’s learning abilities.
The whole format of the book is designed to make it attractive and interesting. Using different fonts, colors and styles for headings, subheadings, main text, etc, it clearly delineates the different sections at first glance. It also helps the students easily identify the topics they want to navigate to.
About The Authors
Lakhmir Singh has extensive experience teaching science subjects, and has written many books on the three main branches of science - physics, chemistry and biology.
The author was born in 1948 in Punjab’s Patiala district. As his family moved to Delhi, Singh did his schooling at the Government Boys Higher Secondary School in Jangpura. He graduated with a Physics (Honours) degree from the Hindu College, and later obtained an M.Sc from Delhi University. Singh began his teaching career as a lecturer in Dyal Singh College of the University of Delhi. Later, he became a Reader at that college.
Manjit Kaur has been a school teacher for several years, and she has co-authored many science books.
Kaur was born in Delhi in 1948. She graduated with a B.Sc from Miranda House, Delhi University, and later obtained a B.Ed from Delhi University.
Together, these two have written several books for school science. These include Chemistry Science For Class - X (Part -2), Science for Ninth Class: Physics: Part - 1, and Awareness Science For Sixth Class.

buy this immediately for 10.0 cgpa in science
i ordered this book on 28th July and received it on 31st July . i wanted a book which is easy to understand and covers all ncert topics . i really loved this book . it is a bit different from 9th physics book as it is long in size and have better print , page and picture quality . they have included many solved and unsloved example to understand better...hope it helps !

Simply the best
I have used Lakhmir Singh & Manjeet Kaur's book 12 years ago when I was in my 10th standard. Instead of 3 separate volumes for PCB subjects, it used to be a 2-volume title with mixed chapters.
I writing this review now to simply show my love for the authors. They have written these books in crystal clear language and inspires one to dig deep into science. Even my father enjoyed teaching me and my sisters from this book.

Best Book for CBSE Board Exams
Those who are facing difficulties in scoring more marks or higher grades in CBSE Boards, then you must buy this book! Not only S. Chand Physics but S. Chand Chemistry and S. Chand Biology also. The language is simple and is a best book if you opt self-tutoring.
