IN OPERATION

This is in continuous use now. I am using this in the computer on which I am typing this review . It is very smooth in operation. the package I received this is a good one. Well covered and safe. I built my own computer using this. The configuration is :

Good performer. Reliability is average.

I bought this with a new PC in Oct'12 from Nehru Place, without realizing it was an SV drive, which is for surveillance, and can support upto 128 data streams. I had asked for a Barracuda drive and was given this. I used it for a whole year as a system drive. It did acquire a few bad sectors, but nothing unfixable. Performance in some tasks is better than a Barracuda 7200 drive, which I started using a year later.

good hard drive hdd

first i received defective product and after I called flipkart in their 10 day replacement period i got a new replacement after a week.leaving that the hard disk his working perfect .from 4 to 5 months.i use the hdd for normal home use.

THE HARD DISK COMES FROM A REPUTED COMPANY AN I ALSO AFTER LOT OF RESEARCH HAD ORDERED THIS SV-35 (ST1000VX000). IT IS A GOOD DEAL SO GO FOR IT

THOSE WHO ARE OPTING FOR 500GD HARD DISK SHOULD TAKE 1TB HDD AS THEIR IS NOT MUCH PRICE DIFFERENCE.
