USB 3.0 Missing
No doubt this a good hard-disk, but mind you, this doesn't have USB 3.0 support. So, if you have a USB 3.0 support in your laptop or desktop, or likely to have in near future, you are missing a great deal here.
USB 3.0 is ten times faster than USB 2.0
Seagate currently (at the time of posting this review) have no hard disk with out-of-box USB 3.0 support. Some Seagate models however work with USB 3.0 with the help of additional attachment (more $$).
You can consider buying Western Digital(WD) Hard Disc Drive(HDD). It has USB 3.0 support, but is priced slightly higher. The WD HDD can be found here:

There are few other USB 3.0 HDD from IOmega and Transcend, but I am not sure of their reliability.
Also note:
** USB 3.0 is backward compatible with USB 2.0, meaning USB 3.0 devices will work on USB 2.0 ports(as well as USB 1.0), but USB 3.0 transfer speed can only be attained on USB 3.0 ports.
** And if have bought a desktop or laptop recently, it is very likely to have USB 3.0 ports for your USB devices.

This Seagate hard disk is the best on USB 2.0
Seagate is the company on whom we can trust.
now a days Seagate USB 3.0 HDDs also available, u can choose as per your requirement.
USB 3.0 is 10 times faster in data tarnsfer than USB 2.0
I'm having 2 seagate HDDs (same models) since 2 years. one is of 500GB and second is of 250GB.
Both are working Excellent. Encryption & Decryption can easily be done in these Drives. Very Good Product, no Cons.

AMAZING
I fell for this one the moment I saw it. It's priced reasonably, looks great, very compact and the best part, no external charging, and the amount of space is perfect.
The size is so small you can move anywhere and everywhere. Especially the music freaks like me....now you can simply connect this to your car's USB and BOOM......MUSIC MUSIC and loads of it.
