Awesome Product,go for it!
I just got a similar product MODEL STAA1000302 which is USB 3.0 disk,rest all the features are the same.Speed is quite good,around 12-20 MBPS write speed.I think the USB 3.0 connectivity is there for the given model too but you guys need an 18-inch USB 3.0 cable which I have since my model is the latest one,you can get it for around a 1000 bucks in the market right now,but wait for sometime and the prices will go down.

Boon for a Mac owner
I own a MacBook Pro. The problem with a Mac is that it only allows you to read the existing data on an external hard disk and not edit it (add new files or delete existing ones). Essentially what this means is that you cannot transfer files between a Windows computer & a Mac or transfer stuff from your Mac to your external hard disk. Then I heard there are a few hard disks that come pre-loaded with a NTFS driver which allows you to use it interchangeably between Windows & Mac. I searched for such a hard disk on Flipkart and found this. I ordered it on Monday afternoon and it arrived at my doorstep by noon on Wednesday. After installing the NTFS driver voila! Just like that I could transfer files to & fro my Mac. If it is a Mac you own & you're on the lookout for some extra storage space, this is the product to buy!
