Seasonic S12II 620 Watts PSU

Its the ultimate.
It can power virtually any graphic card out there.
Efficiency is amazing and would help you save on electricity bills as well.

Mind you, Seasonic is Corsair's OEM and has better Japanese Capacitors.

I had high hopes from a name like seasonic and it certainly didn't let me down. Voltages are rock steady. Have plenty of connectors. Infact you can say that it has too many connectors and sometimes it is hard to manage so many cables but its nothing to worry about. I am running a:
i5 2500k- Overclocked to 4.6 Ghz
4 case fans
2 HDDs
GTX 560 1 gb ddr5
8 gb ram

and this PSU runs everything like a breeze. If you can afford it then you can't go wrong with this PSU. Even as far as affordability is concerned you won't find this efficiency with this much wattage with gold plate japanese capacitors and whatnot at this price. So don't think twice just go for it.

Looks are great, if i can call it's looks umm Professional. Yes that is it, no flashy lights no flashy stickers just a great black finish and sturdy looks. Fan is dead silent, for the first time i thought its fan was not even running so i unscrewed it and checked but it was indeed running but its just that silent. All in all i will recommend this product.

SEASONIC S12-II 620W

Got this from a local retailer about 3 weeks back and I gotto say,this one ROCKS!
One user claimed it to be the GOD of ~600W PSUs and it really is!

PROS :
1)Made by SEASONIC (trusted OEM of Corsair,oh yeah...and still people go for CORSAIR because of the brand,why?) and its 80+ BRONZE -> a quality product.
2)5 yrs warranty by Tirupathi Enterprises (Seasonic INDI A - Quality service assured when I called for presales and good reviews as well)
3)DEAD SILENT,works SMART without noise.I haven't been able to hear what it sounds like.
4)Fits pretty well in my Corsair Carbide 400R
5)Build Quality is pretty nice,I saw the wire material and it might not be shiny and bright but its good quality for sure.
6)12 V rail provides upto 580W,which is reassuring.

CONS :
This is not really a CON but since the PSU is non-modular,the wires can be a bit messy,thanks to the cable-management system
in the case,it's not a major issue.
Keep a bag of cable-ties ready before assembly.

RATING : 5/5 because in this range and cost,this product is totally RECOMMENDED for first-time builders like me.

I need not speak much about the maker of this PSU, as 'Seasonic' is pretty the most popular brand out there when it comes to manufacturing PSU's.
This is simply the best PSU available at the given price point. Seasonic has top notch quality, great efficiency and reliable customer support backed back a strong 5 year warranty.
I was a little confused between this model and the one from Antec.
But then again most Antec's PSU's are manufactured by Seasonic.
If are thinking of getting the Corsair GS 600 then I suggest you dont get that. The 'GS series is known for its issues very well.
If you are going for the 'TX' series then its an entirely different story. Then again 'TX' series is manufactured by 'Seasonic'
So looking for PSU at around 5k! Hell get this now, thank me latter!

I'm very happy with this product.
Highly recommend to all gamers and Overclockers for Sandy and Ivy bridge.
I'd recommend to go for Sandy bridge as it is more stable and Ivy bridge is getting heated during overclocking.
