Sennheiser HD 180

Firstly coming to the service by flipkart. its simply amazing. got this product in exactly two and a half days including sunday in between. awesome service i must say ! coming to the product - its simply a class.
As its name suggests its a sennheiser, whose brand speaks itself so does this headphone ! amazing built quality , very clear sound, cuts off external sound almost completely the earpads completely cover your ear, so you wont complain about earache.
PROS:
> awesome sound quality
> earpads completely cover the ear
> movable ear pads
> 3 meter wirelength is more than enough
> cuts off external sound
> amplifier jack
> very comfortable
> classy looks

CONS:
> no volume control
> no mic

its a worth product :)

I've been using these headphones for the past one year and trust me, if for a moment you forget the brand of these headphones, they are utterly worthless. Here are the pros and cons of this headphones.
Pros:
1) Excellent quality of the cord (Cord is really long)
2) Cushioned pads for comfortable placement around the ear.
3) Decently cuts off all the noise around by perfectly fitting your ears.
4) Brand name and warranty.
Cons:
1) Sound clarity is somewhat OK but treble frequencies, esp. metal percussion instruments and "ssss" sounds are over accentuated and tend to hurt your ear (even after adjusting the equalizer settings in the music player). This is especially noticeable at higher volumes.
2) Over-priced. You get better earphones at this price.
3) No mic or volume control
4) Lesser loudness of volume output compared to other earphones.

These headphones are a good pair of cans if your budget is not too much. The brand name obviously means that it has good quality in spite of being cheap, but don't expect too much from these headphones as you won't get the quality of the expensive ones. But still, these headphones are joy to wear for hearing music. Here are a few pros and cons:

1) Excellent Sound Clarity and quality(Especially for Pop/Techno Kinda Songs).
2) Good Surround Effect.
3) Very Comfortable and light-weight (Can wear for a couple
4) Adjustable Headband and cushion on ear-pads as well as under the headband so makes listening very comfortable.
5) Good quality wire and decent wire length(3m=approx. 10 ft.).

---> Cons:
1) Bass is very weak, so Bass lovers, look elsewhere.
2) Volume is a little bit on the lower side.
3) The highs in the song are not as accurate as the lows and the mids.
4) Not so good for Metal/Loud Songs.
5) Quality of Plastic looks a little below par so have to handle carefully else something might get damaged.

All in all, it was a good buy. I give 4 stars to the product + 1-star also because of Express Service of Flipkart as always. Got the product in less than 48 hrs.

So, if you're looking for a branded pair of headphones within your budget and are not a heavy metal fan, then these Cans are a good choice for you. And remember to use these headphones for at least an hour or two continuously after opening them to get the best out of these pair of cans as they are new at the time of buying so the speakers don't perform well initially.

I had been using sappy I-Pod earphones in my laptop for quite a while until i got absolutely fed up and decided to get a decent pair of headphones. Not being a fan of earphones, i set out searching for a pair of circumaural headphones (in the Rs. 950 to Rs. 2000 range) and ended up settling for the HD 180's (owing to my sennheiser bias). Am a music junkie through and through but by no means am i fussy bout headphones. As long as the headphones provide clear sound and are comfortable, i'm good. The HD 180's do just that. It looks decent and has a huge cord (which i like). Cuts off external noise to a noticeable extent. Provides clear sound (IMO not recommended for people who listen to loud bass music). As for the tech specs, i am not really too aware of the implications of frequency response or sound pressure level sort of thingies so will steer clear of those aspects of the review
Given the price, i don't think you could ask for a lot more. I don't think it would be too big a gamble on anyone's part to go in for this product considering how nominally priced it is.
All in all, i may not be blown away (Don't deserve to be either considering i spent only under a 1000 bucks), but am more than satisfied with these headphones. Go for it if in doubt.

I have used many of headphones in my life but when i came to this one its truly amazing one.No doubt that this is a quite expensive product, for many of the computer users spending around of Rs 1000/- for headphones is quite unnecessary but i am telling you guys this is one of the finest headphones i have ever used it is full value for money.

Advantages-
. good quality High Definition speakers with Rich,crisp bass response. In many of headphones i have heard the main problem with bass
. long life as one can see get 2 years of manufacturer's warranty. So quite sure will work efficiently for at least for 2 years that's why a full value for money product.
. cuts off external noise.
. Is lightweight and is comfortable to wear. You can wear it for quite long time without any pain as the speakers are fully adjustable as per your head.Contains 1 head adjustment and 2 settings for ear adjustments this is what make it more comfortable than other head phones.
. High quality ear pads.
. Includes 6.3 mm gold plated adapter for direct connection with music amplifier system.

Disadvantages
. no volume control included with it but that's not a big deal
. no mic.
. 3 meter cord larger than required and sometime annoying also as it stuck to nearby objects and if not taken care can result in breaking of the cord.
