Sennheiser HD 203 Headphone

I was simply stunned by the quality of these Sennheiser HD 203 and at this price. The HD 203 simply responded to all types of music genre without compromising on the low - mid - high frequency curve and HD 203 reproduced sincerely. Though it is been categorised as a DJ headphone, in my opinion I feel satisfied with all types of music I listen to from classical to western.

The close type earphones isolate the listener from outside noise and it also prevents the music from hearing outside without distracting other people around you. The cosntruction of the HD 203 is very light weight, stylish, handy and comfortable and sits pretty well on almost any head type for long listening.

I am very much impressed with its sentivity level of 115dB, when I connected the HD 203 to my friends Nokia 5230 and listened to music. I disabled all the presets in the Nokia phone and made it flat. I was amazed by the quality of sound reproduced by HD 203 and the loundness level. I had to bring the volume to less than 75% for normal hearing as at full volume I was like inside a party house with 10000W speakers around me, which will definitely blow my eardrums on prolonged hearing. Still at 100% volume, I didn't notice any distortion and every note was reproduced clearly.
Overall, I am satisfied with this HD 203 and I should say its an amazing headphones from Sennheiser worth the money spend.

Hello everyone. I would just like to mention the cons because the pros are mentioned by others and the site offcourse and is known but cons are the main factors based on which a person really makes a purchase. So here are the cons of this product:

1) It gets warm after wearing it for some time- so your ears start sweating.
2) You need to take a break off the headphones after wearing them for a max of 1 hour as it gets a bit uncomfortable... Maybe due to the heat or maybe due to the size.
3) Extremely long cord (Not good for people who want it for travelling purpose)
4) No volume control.
5) No Mike.
6) Noise cancellation is not 100% -- but common you can't expect that in such a priced headphone.

My rating = 4/5 .... (I only mentioned the cons, there are tripe the number of pros which are mentioned elsewhere) :)

I had never used headphones with price above Rs1000, so I might be biased. But having said that, this beauty (& the beast ,when it comes to bass) is by far the best I cud have imagined.
Pros:
-Light weight, fits comfortable on ears.
-Decent noise reduction
-Excellent sound clarity (Be it classical or western)
-Awesome bass without compromising the overall sound clarity.
Cons:
-I jst dnt want to let it go off my eardrums..

It seems I am having newer and by far greater experiences even with my favourites songs which I have been listening for years.

If you could afford, I would highly recommend this.

for the past 6 months I have been looking for a good headphones. Bose is very very expensive. I wanted something with great sound quality and that cancels the outside noise. and fits by budget. HD203 fits the bill perfectly.Great german technology at a good good price. I am now enjoying my music..be it instrumentals, Mozarts, Beethoven, Blues, Pop, R&B, Meditative...the sound effect is excellent. Perfect surround sound. I would strongly recommend everyone to buy this product.I can hear all the high notes and low notes very clearly. The sound production is so good that I have to keep the volume level in the range of low to mid. Some very particular songs I would increase the volume level. I get goose pimples when I listen to music on these headphones......These headphones are very very comfortable. Fits perfectly on the ears and I have not experienced any pain or discomfort of any kind on prolonged use. I placed by order on 26 January and it got promptly delivered on 28 January 2012. I just wished the OEM had provided a carry box, so that one can carry it safely in one's backpack or bag, without breaking it....i would have been carefree in carrying it around..It is an excellent product...

Just bought them 2 days back & can't stop listening to them. I am hearing sounds i never knew existed. Fantastic bass, a little sharp on the Highs but that can be set right by the correct EQ settings.Overall the sound is very crisp & clear. The fit is a little bit tight & folks with larger heads could have some discomfort,but its okay if one takes a break once in a while. Overall very satisfied with them & great service and price from flipkart , a steal for 1530 bucks.
