Man the clarity!! I am not going to be too technical by writing this review like all others. To be honest I dont know much about what a mid or a high means in audio terms but as a layman I can say that I have not heard anything like this ever in my life!. now about headphone.
Pros:
1. bass is good
2. Sound clarity is above par for most of the genres
3. Comfortable pads and less fatigueness
Cons:
1. Price is on the steeper side
2. No additional pouch given
3. portability is ann\ issue.
Overall, i will 4.5 out of 5. after using this barely for half an hour i said WOW what an amazing product by sennheiser which has bass also. Lows and highs are perfect, Bass is tight and not overpowerin...

Use this with a FiiO E10 headphone amplifer which costed me about 4.5 K.
I would say go for cheaper headphones in case you don't intend to spend on an amplifer. The difference in output is phenomenal - i was hard pressed to believe that they were the same set of headphones.
Nice sound stage, Maybe a touch strong in the bass segment, but extremely non-fatiguing and detailed.

Awesome ! Sennheiser HD 518
Hi , guys i write reviews for different kinds of headphones , this time I checked out the HD 518.
Pros:
1.Bass is strong and does give a heavy punchy feel.
2.Treble is perfect.
3.Clarity comes with a bass and it is clear and is as good as any theater level.
4.Even the smallest of the tingling sound is audible and these headphones have a range which is around 24000 GHz (which is a lot!).
5.These are 'over the ear' headphones and are very sturdy.One can sleep with them .

this product has it's own taste. iam telling you that it has awesome bass and amazing loud voice more than one can hear....but the best part is that u can easily hear even the minute changes that occur in a song or a movie ...with so much clearness.......Sennheiser Rocks !!!

I bought this headphone couple of days back, and i can assure every1 that it has given me an awesomatic time since then. I am loving every song, every beat & every note in it. Very comfy over the head model, worth the buy, if you are a music crazy person.. You are gonna love it, for sure.

This headphone is just awesome, the quality which we can expect from Sennheiser. Material is plastic, still build quality is very good and the ear cushions are plush and soft.
Talking about the audio quality, there is enough clarity, though the bass sometimes tends to overpower mids(in some genres). Otherwise it is just fine. Brilliant!
I bought this from Flipkart only and got it delivered within 2 days. Its definitely worth the price and the bass is just awesome.They are comfortable for as long as I wore them(8-9hours). The sound quality is also very good. Surely worth the price.The only fault I see is that the wire keeps getting tangled.
