A nice movie.
After getting inspired by lot of praises for Akira Kurasowa, I have listed down a few of his best movies and this one would be one of the best. The acting skills of Toshiro Mifune as at the best. The emotional journey throughout the movie is great and the strategies by the Samurai to beat the bandits are great. The picturaization left me spell bound and I could not expect such camera movements and art direction nearly 70 years back. Buy it and you will not regret buying it.
Mother of all Action Sagas
Watch this if you want to know the real inspiration behind major action blockbusters like "Sholay", "Star Wars" .... A magnum opus by the master raconteur Akiro Kurosawa, should be included in the must watch list of all serious movie buffs.
