Fabulous Movie!
Shanghai has excellent production qualities.
The cast of Abhay Deol, Emraan Hashmi, Farooque Shaikh, and Kalki Koechlin turns in a stellar performance.
The script is good, though not comparable to that of a topnotch Hollywood movie of the same genre. The end is a little abrupt, and certain parts of the plot are not easily understandable.
All in all, this is a splendid effort and indicative of a glorious future for Hindi parallel cinema!

Shanghai - Excellent Movie
Guys, this movie is a masterpeice. And watching it on bluray was a great experience. We have seen many political thrillers but this one is d best. Dibakar Banerjee(Directer Of d movie) has presented this move in a practical & realistic manner. Emraan Hashmi & Abhay Deol acted superbly. I had preordered this movie, nd it was shipped as per the esimated date. Guys go for d movie. A MUST BUY.

Brilliant!
The movie is brilliant, so no need to comment on that. As a DVD package, the director could have spiced up the 'special features' by adding his commentary. Also a standalone DVD for special features would have been better. However, the DVD transfer is of first rate resulting in Crisp picture quality. A brilliant addition to your DVD library.

as usual, directed by a Bengali director, it touched the heart. really, not at all hindi film. based on real story, he shows faces behind the mask,,i.e., our great democratic country's great political system n policy. really, a gut movie.... hit it in ur screen n u will enjoy it lot.............

Refreshing movie. Dibakar is one of the few really talented people in industry.
Chracritzation is pretty good.
