Firstly,that cover! and i was like 0_O...
This story is basically a HUNGER GAMES meets X-MEN kind of story. But, i have to add it is so much more.
It starts like this:
"I've been locked up for 264 days.
I have nothing but a small notebook and a broken pen and the numbers in my head to keep me company. 1 window. 4 walls. 144 square feet of space. 26 letters in an alphabet i haven't spoken in 264 days of isolation."

Wow!!
I can't recall enough adjectives from my vocabulary to express how amazing this book is. This is the first book is a series by Tahereh Mafi. A very good novel with a nice plot. Interesting characters and a unique writing style makes this one of my favorites.

Awesome!
For those who love action, romance, and just something pure and fresh to read, Shatter Me is the book for you. The story line is really interesting and oozing with romance, which believe is a real page turner. The writing style is absolutely brilliant and well thought of.
If you love dystopian reads, and enjoyed Divergent or the Hunger Games, do pick this up!!

Shatter me. I bought this book because it's cover seemed captivating. Yeah yeah, kill me for judging a book by it's cover. I read the summary and everything and I was on the brink of not buying the book, but again it's cover was fascinating.
Believe me, I was NOT disappointed by it's contents either. This is PROFESSIONAL style writing for a debutante authoress. Tahereh Mafi proves to be an excellent storyteller in this I-say-He says capturing novel.
