Summary of the Book
The god Bala has been defeated. But Tara Mehta, the present incarnation of Devi refuses to leave Sitapur to go and live with the Gods. She stays back and seeks to protect her city as best she can, showing that she is different compared to her previous avatar. About Shekar Kapur
Shekar Kapur is an Indian film director, actor, producer and scriptwriter. Born into the family of the legendary Dev Anand, Kapur was primed for a life in the movies from a very young age. His movies Elizabeth and The Golden Age won seven nominations for the Academy Awards.
He co-founded Virgin Comics (now remodelled as Liquid Comics) with several other eminent personalities and brought a variety of comics with an Indian touch to them. Other titles published by the company's Shakti comics line are: The Sadhu, Ramayan 3392 A.D., Project Kalki and The Tall Tales of Vishnu Sharma among others.
