  • Description

Be drawn into a world of war and carnage, brought about by the blade of the immortal Devi, warrior goddess in this third volume of Shekar Kapur's best-selling graphic comic series.

    Summary of the Book

The god Bala has been defeated. But Tara Mehta, the present incarnation of Devi refuses to leave Sitapur to go and live with the Gods. She stays back and seeks to protect her city as best she can, showing that she is different compared to her previous avatar. Now, she must reckon with an Apsara assassin, Kratha, who wants to kill her and even while she struggles between her lives, a dark and dangerous new being begins hunting her for reasons only it knows. Read as Devi fights these foes and still needs to face the underworld scum who rule Sitapur from the drenches of organized crime.

    It is decent

Like all its predecessors this one too manages to deliver a decent end. Could have been more interesting. Let's see what they cook up next. The scope is still not up to the mark. At least take her to a country level. Oh! And it is not for children!!! You know what I mean...

    Great product

Book was in excellent condition like as if it was just out of printing. Don't know why Indian comics like Devi hasn't caught on but it has good artwork and storyline.
