About Shobhaa De

Shobhaa De is a well-known Indian novelist, writer and journalist. She was born in Mumbai in the year 1948. She completed her degree in Psychology from St. Xavier’s College in Mumbai, started her career as a model, and later turned to journalism. Her books and newspaper columns are extremely famous. Her novels have been translated into several Indian regional languages. Some of her works are even used as course materials in comparative literature studies in several Indian universities and elsewhere. She has worked as an editor for Stardust, Celebrity, and Society. Some of her notable works are Starry Nights, Strange Obsession, Small Betrayals, Selective Memory, and Second Thoughts.
