The film was directed by Maneesh Sharma and starred Sushant Singh Rajput, Parineeti Chopra, Vaani Kapoor and Rishi Kapoor. This Bollywood soundtrack album was composed by the musical duo Sachin - Jigar who assisted Pritam with his musical arrangements earlier on in their career. The two have scored the music for well-known film such as F.A.L.T.U, ABCD: Any Body Can Dance, Go Goa Gone and Issaq. The vocalists who have been featured in this album include; Benny Dayal of the Indian pop band S5, 2-time Filmfare Award-winner Sunidhi Chauhan, 2-time Filmfare Award-winner Mohit Chauhan and a few eminent others.
