Sibling Secrets

As the family car leaves the driveway, 11-year-old Sidney experiences a deluge of mixed emotions. A year has passed since she has seen her grandparents. It's been nearly ten months since she received a letter from her best friend, Rose, who lives on a farm near her grandparents. To make matters worse, the relationship with her older brother, Ted, has gone from not-so-good to bad. Something tells her that this summer vacation is going to be different. On her grandparents' farm, Sid is terrorized by everything from ghosts to snakes to the warped antics of her older brother. She relies on Jay, her 13-year-old brother, to protect her until she finds the strength to face her fears alone.
