Volume 1 of 2. Sidonia the Sorceress. Found in these volumes are the stories of Sidonia the Sorceress, the supposed destroyed of the whole reigning ducal house of Pomerania. Sidonia, Lady Canoness of Pomerania, was accused of using her sorceries to cause sterility in many families, particularly that of the ancient reigning house of Pomerania, and also of having destroyed the noblest scions of that house by an early and premature death. Also found in these volumes is the story of Mary Schweidler, the Amber witch. This is the story of a deeply affecting and romantic trial, one of the most interesting witchcraft trials of all time, taken from the original manuscript found in a niche at Coserow, in the island of Usedom.
