Silent Women

Canadian writer and television producer Ingrid Berzins Leuzy, has worked with elderly and disadvantaged women for many years and has devoted herself to telling their fascinating, inspiring, but often tragic stories. Of particular interest are those who have been uprooted from their country of origin through the painful process of immigration. Her stories, whether on screen or in print, explore the universal struggle of trying to age gracefully within a society that does not always value that process and the effort it takes to come to terms with those life events that did not have a happy ending.
